Maureen Watts:  Licensed Veterinary Technician

Maureen has worked with animals for many years.  She started as a kennel worker during her college years while attending SUNY Suffolk.  After graduating with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Science Technology, she became a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician. 

Her extensive experience in surgical nursing and anesthesia has made her a valuable asset to our hospital.  Her life long love for animals drives her every day acts of compassionate care.  She takes great pride in educating our clients as she cares for our patients.  In her spare time she volunteers in animal rescue.  Maureen grew up on Long Island and lives nearby with her four-legged family members including her tea-cup Chihuahua "Nero".

 

     Melissa Mulcahy: Kennel Manager/Vet Assistant

Melissa has loved animals her entire life, working with animals is her dream. She started volunteering in a local animal hospital and completely fell in love. Caring for animals is her passion. She plans on continuing her education to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. In her spare time she likes to relax with her chihuahua named Chico.  

  


        Lenore McGinn:  Receptionist/Office Manager

  Lenore spent 32 years as the practice manager of a high volume animal hospital in Nassau County where she gained an immense amount of experience in client care. Her experience developed through attention to preventative and proactive well care, common animal health issues and emergency cases.
  She managed the care of the Nassau County Police Canine Unit, Nassau County Fire Marshals-Accelerant Detection Canine, United Nations Canine Unit and several private detection dog companies.
  Lenore has a deep sense of compassion for all animals, but her true passion lies in the rearing and training of working dogs. Through her dog hobby she has gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience in breeding and training dogs. She lives in Huntington with her husband and their 2 German Shepherd Dogs.
